Heading into grizzly country this summer?  Don't forget your bear spray!  BYU Bear biologist Tom Smith reviewed 71 cases of bear pepper spray use in dangerous encounters, and concluded that bear spray was effective 92 percent of the time.

meals at backcountry camps, and to keep people

safe from dangerous encounters.
